Need CD Player for 1989 Pontiac Sunbird?

hello, I would like to purchase a CD player for my 1989 pontiac sunbird but I don't know what to purchase, my vehicle currently has a Delco cassette player but I would like to replace it with a CD player, thanks!

You can fit a standard "DIN" CD player in your Sunbird, but you need a special kit and may have to do some cutting to make it fit.  The wiring is a little trickier than a typical GM vehicle, also, because there's a separate amplifier/tuner pack.

The CD player goes into the cassette player location; the factory radio control pod will be disconnected.
