I already asked s similar question but didn't get the answer I was quite looking for. My roster setup is: QB QB WR WR WR RB RB TE WR/RB DEF DEF K K. I know big roster. What should I go after first? There is going to be 22 rounds, so where should I draft certain positions? I have the 4th overall pick. Any help or tips would be appreciated.

  1. How many teams would be nice to know but assuming standard 12, you should go RB at the fourth pick. Kickers really, really late.

    Good luck. Have fun.

  2. First round definetly go rb tey get the most points. Then either get a WR or QB depending whos left. I would go with QB in 2nd round in my opinion but thats ur choice

  3. There are only @ 10 RBs that are on one-RB only teams so definately get a RB first!  Picking 4th is great this year: you should be able to get one of the following:  LT/ S. Jackson/ Westbrook/ Peterson.  Remember, there is very little difference stat-wise between QB 5 and QB 20.  (Get QBs late)

  4. if you can get a quality running back in the first round (peterson would be a good choice...) then there are lots of good QB's. I would try and go after a WR somewhat early as well. Good Luck

  5. 4th pick overall, you will be looking for a RB for your first pick.  A RB is the most important position you need to fill with elite players.  With the 4th pick, you are looking at guys like Steven Jackson, Addai, Westbrook, Larry Johnson, or even adrian peterson if he falls.

With the next two picks, I would take WR's, since you have to fill 3 slots for them.  A guy like a Steve Smith or a T.O. are good picks here.  If you don't want to draft two WR's, I would draft a RB then WR.  A guy like Portis might be around in the 2nd round, or a Marshawn Lynch.  In the 4th round, I'd pick a QB, whichever is most available.  THen just go from there

    Hope this helps

  6. With your 1st round pick I would go for Brian Westbrook (RB-Philadelphia Eagles) if he is available. He will give you 1500 yards rushing, about 800-900 yards receiving and about 20-25 TD's total. If he is not available take Steven Jackson (RB-St. Louis Rams) He had an off season last year, but he will bounce back. You might know this but if LaDainian TOmlinson or Adrian Peterson are still on the board take them!

Since you have such a big roster I would go after Running Backs, since they give you lots of points. (Get Brian Westbrook, good recieving and running threat!) Get a solid WR on a team with a good QB such as Marques Colston on the New Orleans Saints. Also try to get Braylon Edwards he will do good with  Derek Anderson. For Defense try to take Minnesota's Defense or San Diego's Defense. For QB I would suggest Drew Brees or Carson Palmer. (Not too pricey but solid). For 2nd QB take Philip Rivers or Ben Roethsliberger. For Tight End take either Antonio Gates or Ben Watson (TE-New England Patriots).

For where to draft I would suggest:

    QB1- 2rd or 3th round

    QB2-7th,8th,or 9th round

    RB1-1st round

    RB2-3rd,4th,or 5th round

    RB3-10th, 11, or 14th round

    WR1-3rd or 4th round

    WR2-6th or 7th round

    TE-9th or 10th round

    DEF-12 or 13th Round

    DEF-16th or 17th Round

K-18th Round- Try getting cheap kickers on good teams (ex. Nate Kaeding)

    K-19th Round

  7. If you have the 4th overall pick, I would look who is left.

    1. LT

    2. ADrian Peterson and if he is still their make sure to get his back up in the later round to protect your pick(Chester Taylor).

    3. Stephen Jackson

If any of these players are gone by the time your ready to pick,

    grap TOM BRADY!!! He's Money!!!!

    Peace- '07 Champ

    P.S.

If your picking a defensive player look at terrence mcgee from buffalo, but if their is a player worth taking dont hesitate to get them. You can take him after the draft

Oh and dont waste your time getting kicker, do it after the draft.

  8. I would go with a rb. You can get a top RB there, while there is more starting WRS out there and some good qbs usually fall...
