Need Good excuse for work leave?

Hi, we are moving into a new branch. Me and my husband have been planning a vacation for months now but didn't have a specific date until 2 weeks ago because of his job. I wanted to ask thursday, friday and monday. Could you guys give me a good excuse to give. I heard that they didn't let one co worker that ask for it a couple weeks ago so i really need a good one(didnt know his reasons). I'm really exhausted from the move we have been doing it for 5 months now and i really need to go because we wont be able to go for another 6 months if i pass and he already made reservation. Pls help

Throw a sickie?

Say there is a huge surprise family party (it would take you a day there and a day back to travel), they are flying in from all over the world/area and that it is for an extremly elderly couple who are very close to your little family?  - it worked for me, heh heh!!

The old back pain routine? - it was moving house that did it!

Personal problems - sniffle, sniffle, my husband and I need time to decide if we can save our marriage............. (mean but powerful!)

Or, my appointment to have my farmer giles (piles!) removed has come up! - he can't say no to an operation, can he?

You could always call in sick those days or say a family member that lives in another state is ill and needs your help. Maybe you have to help them after a "surgery" or something.
