Need HELP buying a gift for a friend!!!!!?

Question

I have a friend that's coming back from Poland. They were born here and they left for Poland last summer to live there. They are coming to visit for sumer vacation and we are going to have a party. All our friends are going to pitch in money to buy them something. No clothing please. We were all thinking it has to be something meaningful that she can always remember us by. Like getting them a stuffed bear (from build - a - bear) and sighing on a shirt. PLEASE help us with some other ideas!!!!!!

OK i have an idea how about you can buy a i miss you mug i forget where they are but just search it in the web then sign the mug with sharpies is that a good idea?
