Question:

Need Health insurance !

Does anyone know of any health insurance companies that will take me even though I have ADHD? It's okay if they mark me up or put a rider on it so none of the adhd expenses will be covered, I just need coverage bad and I am scared to be without it. If anyone can help, that would be great!

I am 22, live in FL, and work full time for an employer who doesn't offer insurance. I was on my dad's BCBS up until last month.

  1. Because you have ADHD doesn't mean you aren't entitled in having Insurance. You can go online and do a search for Health insurance Plans from numerous Companies abroad. From there, depending on what you can afford and exact coverage you would benefit from then go from there... easy as PIE!

  2. You probably need to not try to buy it directly.  Going to a local agent, the agent will know which companies in your area, would be willing to write this coverage with an exclusion for the ADHD.

Also, you can see if you could get Cobra under your dad's policy.  It might not be too late to sign up.

  3. Blue Cross and Blue Shield is about the only company that takes "pre-existing" conditions such as yours. I would encourage you to go look at one of the plans they have and I believe you will have to pay everything the first year as one of their rules.

If you go to college, you can be on your dad's as a "family continuation" up until the age of 25.

Look at a high deductible "health savings account" because it will give you way more coverage than a "basic blue" plan.

  4. you should check out http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/monicamars... the have really good healh and dental plans and they are offering $300 gas vouchers if you sign up or refer someone who signs up this month. and if you sign up today you can start tomorrow

  5. I am not going to  say I am one hundred percent sure about the answer.Besides it really depends on the personal feelings.SO it would better for you to find yourself. Here is a good resource.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...
