  1. Ouch, that is always a bit stressful.

First, you need to take a deep breath and be calm so that you don't make another mistake.

Second, Oxyclean would be my best guess for this situation. It's gotten me out of the same situations many times.

A typical container is about $8 to $15 dollars.,and that's a heck of a lot cheaper than $150 ;),good luck!

  2. LOL...Either get some dye and redo them or bleach them all the way out and make them pink all over. Life is to short to worry over breeches.

  3. well, more than likely, if it's just a little fun schooling show and not at a big fancy place, then they wont mind. do you have tall boots? If the pink spots are just to your knee or if they are just on your knee use tall boots. If u dont have tall boots, use jod straps. And a tip... dont call your mother stupid. At least she bought you those 150 dollar pair jods in the first place, and the reason that she wont buy u more (probably) is because the show is so much.

  4. you can  try to design the dress, so it won't look like it got destroyed. for the worse of it, just bleach it.

  5. oh gosh... don't cry...

go get a spot stain remover, clorox has some great products or Oxy clean... this stuff isn't as harsh as bleach... and bleach wouldn't be good for your predicament... (i'm assuming your breeches are tan?)

no, it wouldn't be acceptable.. show is a very important part of judgement.

or try putting your pants in hot water, letting them soak, and then scrubbing the stains with an old toothbrush with straight up dish soap.... that's worked in the past. But i know pink can be a difficult stain.

(and it probably was the blanket that ruined them)

in the future, wash your breeches in with the whites.

    good luck

  6. Wash them again with vanish stain remover.

If this doesn't work, then borrow a pair for your show or get a cheap pair, quick on eBay.

  7. dude wear pants

  8. hmmm.  try putting them back in the wash cuz they were really expensive.  it might or might not matter at a show, but it depends on where it is/who it judging, etc.  it didnt matter what i wore to my shows, they never really said anything.

  9. It depends how big the show is. They might let you off. Also how bad are the spots. Could you cover them with a long jacket and chaps or long boots? Maybe you could wear a different pair of breeches and just try explaining to the judges what happened. You could maybe get some cheap ones just for this time, or have you got a generous friend who might lend you some.

If all else fails I'd just wear the breeches and if anyone asks just explain the pink spots. What's the worst that could happen?

  10. Oxyclean has saved me a bunch!!!

  11. Yes...a pink blanket is what caused your pink spot on your pants...You should have been more careful about what you put in the washer with your breeches you spoiled little monster.

Thank goodness I never spoke about my mother like this.

edit...you are really quick to add that last part about giving your mother the money to get you a new pair...whatever.

I don't blame your mom for not buying you the breeches.

  12. If you really do have the money why don't you go and buy yourself a pair.

Why is it always the Mums that have to do the running around ?

You have a problem, you have the money so solve it already.

Edit > ah - I am having a bad day.

Edit> Ever heard of public transport, bicycles or get on your flipping horse D'uh ?

    I drive a car not a taxi.

  13. gosh that stinks, from now on always remember to have an extra pair just in case. try to put stain remover on the spots, or throw them in with more pink clothing and ride with pink breeches, it would be cool if you rode with a pink saddle pad, that would match. Good luck at your show and with your pants

  14. DONT CALL YOUR MOTHER STUPID!!! YOU SOUND SO SPOILED WHEN YOU SAY THAT SHE WON:T BUY YOU NEW ONES. Breeches are very expensive. The pink stains are from the blanket. Wash them with bleach or buy a tide pen and use it to white the spots out. NO, spotted pink breeches are not acceptable to a show.

  15. So oh well .  Now they have dots

  16. Hmm... maybe your mother would be willing to buy you some rit dye? You could dye them the same color of the spots and maybe that would help.  Rit dye is common to find and very cheap.

  17. they probley look better in pink.lol

  18. They'll be fine. The judges certainly aren't going to kick you out or anything, chances are they won't even get the chance to notice, even if they do, you added you're own lil "flavor" to them. Maybe it'll go good with your horse. :P

  19. Go to a store as simple as wal mart. And go buy some color dye. http://www.ritdye.com/Powders.28.51.6.la... You'll want to buy Taupe, its a close match to the breeches. Dont freak out, its ok. Just to be safe, i would buy some color remover, too. All you do is put the breeches in the washer, turn your washer on, and sprinkle the color remover all around the washer until empty. When that is done, do the same with the Taupe color dye. Works like a charm. I use the Rose Pink all the time. (: GOOD LUCK!!

  20. See if you can find a knock off pair just like them

Or cut a hole in the places where the pink spot were and Rock On!

  21. DONT TOUCH THEM!! take them to a profesional dry cleaner

  22. try rewashing them on there own.

  23. You could try to dye them with Ritt dye, if the material is able to accept the dye.  I would only do this if you find no other solution, since there is no guarantee that it will come out perfectly.

  24. mmmk well people saying suck it up and c**p like that can just shove off. id be upset too if i ruined my $150 breeches. and theres nothing wrong with buying expensive stuff ifyou have the money. just thought i should bash you terrible people. and sorry about your breeches. i really am i just dont know what to do about it. id really help if i could. but the least i could do was stick up for you :]
