Need Help Hosting a Website?

Hello there.

I have frontpage 2003 and have made a website.

what i would like to know if there is anyway i can use this and host my site for FREE online.

There is a popular free web host called http://www.freewebs.com

I don't reccomend using free web hosts for a number of reasons.

1. Search Engines tend to ignore websites of free web hosts. This is because when people make free websites and get tire of them they do not remove them from the internet since they don't have to pay therefore alot of websites on free web hosts are abandoned and not updated anymore so if your websites needs traffic from search engines it will you will not get much.

2. Free web hosts including freewebs put ads on your websites.

3. You cannot use your own domain name even if you have one. The name of your website will be http://www.freewebhost.com/yourwebsite. which is hard to remember if you use freewebs then the name of your website will be

http://www.freewebs.com/yourdomain. People who visit your website may forget the name or not even try to remember it.

The only reason you should use a free web hosts is if you want to host a temporary website or you do not care whether your website succeeds or not.

You can host it for free with Microsoft Office Live Small Business - http://tinyurl.com/officelive . It has 500mb of storage and no ads. You can upload your frontpage site to office live. It also has a free online web design tool that allows you to create web pages without coding. Currently, it is offering a free domain name for the first year.

I'd suggest performing an internet search for the term "free web hosting". There are quite a number of companies offering free hosting.

Since I don't use any of them, I can't recommend any particular one.
