Need Help New Bow Hunter?

I just got a new, well used bow off the net. It is a Jinnings Forked Lighting. Well the bow didnt come with anything but itself. I was woundering becuase im new at the field...is there multi purpose sight/sights for it that i can buy. If so where can i pick the up and if not does anyone know where i can start looking to pick some up before deer season? I was hopeing i could find sights that would fit many different bows. Plz help =) thx

  1. Your going to need at least a sight, rest, and stabilizer. They can fit any bow so you don't have to worry about that. One word of advice though is do not take it to a ***** Sporting Goods or any other big department store like those because they do not know what they are doing. Like the guy above me said, take it to a store that knows what they are doing and they can then also inspect the bow because you never know what your getting with used bows especially ones bought on the internet, something like dirt in the cams is the last thing you want and is hard to tell unless you know what your looking for.

    you should be able to find a bow shop in your local area to help you out hope the info I gave helps. and congratulations on your bow purchase once you get a deer with a bow it will be the only way you want to hunt.


  3. take the bow to the local Archery shop the experts will help you rig out your bow for shooting.
