If you are traveling from Newark into Penn Station in New York, where is the closest place to access the 6 train into The Bronx? Please provide detailed directions. ;) thanks so much!

Closest will be Grand Central. You may take buses M4/Q32 from 32nd St/7th Av to Mad Av/42nd St or subways uptown 1/2/3 to Times Sq, transfer to 42nd St Shuttle or Queens (7) train to Grand Central for 4/5 uptown to 125th St for (6). 4/5 is express and (6) is local. If you see (6) train at Grand Central, get on it.

Or, you may take PATH train from Newark to WTC, then walk around the temporality detour to Fulton St/Broadway station, then take uptown 4/5 express to 125th St for (6) local into Bronx.

Please note during PM hours, (6) has local and peak express. When peak express is running, local only goes to Parkchester.

Sometimes there are constructions work on middays and weekends, which require you to transfer to next (6) train at 125th St or 3rd Av.
