Need Help With Assassins Creed PC Version

Question

I have all of the system requirements for the PC version. I recently had to upgrade my graphics card though. I just bought VisionTek ATI Radeon 2600 HD Pro Edition. According to the system requirements on the back of the game this card should work but it doesn't. I have Windows Vista and on the Performance Information and Tools my system is now at base score of 4.8. But apparently you need a score of at least 5.0 to play Assassins Creed. I don't understand it! The game said I had all the requirements but my PC says I don't have a high enough subscore....I'm clueless has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone help?

I have a PC half of what you have. And I am done Playing Assassins creed 3 times.
