Need Help With My Calculator Pls!!?

The question is determine th pH of the solution, based on its hydronium ion concentration.

a.Apple juice,[H3O]=1.00.10^-3 mole/L

Solution:

[H3O]=10^-pH

.........=10^-11.0

Those are the steps to solve it but I could not figure out how to do it on calculator. So please tell me the steps in 1,2,3....

It has something to do with log button but I am not sure

  1. The equation relating pH and [H3O+] is as follows;

    pH = - log [H3O+]

    Inputting the value of [H3O+] in the equation give the following...

    pH = - log [1.00 x 10^3]

    To work this out on the calculator requires you to use the logarithm button, labelled "log".

    First press the +/- button to get a negative sign, then press the 'log' button, then press 1 followed by EXP and 3 to give the 1.00 x 10^3 part.

    On my calculator, the pH is approximately equal to 3.
