  1. I would. I hate snakes. the snake my harm your cat but most of all he may harm your children

  2. Of course the cat is in danger!  Get it into a cat carrier and remove the poor thing from the property.

Then remember that the coral snake BREEDS this time of year, so even if it usually is not aggressive, all those breeding hormones can change a personality.

Last of all!  It is a neurotoxin like a COBRA!  you think the bite is nothing , 20 minutes later you or the kids are dead!

SO I have a Ball Python, she is 17 years old, I love snakes.

But for the life of me,WHY would you have a pet that would possibly kill your child, even by accident?????

  3. if the cat gets bit he will die for sure. The kids are also in alot of danger, if anyone gets bite your looking at a $5000 medical bill for the antivenom because he is a venomous snake, the most dangerous snake in north america! you probley shouldnt even be keeping venomous snakes, especially since you have kids, cats and a apparently insecure cage.

  4. Call a shrink

    t

  5. I think you should put your cat someplace where your cat can't reach him! then you should put some kind of food that your snake likes in a cage trap, than your snake hopefully will find it and get caught in the trap.

    HOPE that helps!

  6. Well, hopefully he is a Scarlet King, Milk or one of the other nonvenomous varieties or de-fanged or de-venomed. They generally aren't aggressive unless provoked. If this is the case, then kitty will be fine. If not, then call animal control.

  7. You need to find that snake, not just for your cat's safety but also for your children's sake. Even though they may not be scared of the snake, doesn't mean that the snake can't hurt them if they stumbled on it accidentally! Please call your vet who will be able to give you numbers to call.

  8. u just need to lock the cat somewhere and if u didn find the snake in a few days then it has properly went away from your place.

  9. it depends on whether or not you cat will try to chase or hunt it. just keep an eye your cat if he/she is liable to do that and soon enough you'll find the snake

  10. You have got to be out of your mind to keep a coral snake around children. If the cat finds it, the cat might kill the snake or the snake might kill the cat. Chances are, though that the two will have a "Mexican standoff" and you might be able to step in. Coral snakes are fairly docile when not provoked, as you have probably found out. Warn the kids to call you if they find the snake and not to pick it up. Calling 911 won't help much. Very few animal control officers have experience with snakes and the police tend to shoot first and think afterward (if ever).

If there is a local herpetological society in your area, you might be able to hire a herpetologist (amateur or professional) to go through your house. BTW, you probably can't afford me.

  11. Ahem, a coral snake is venomous!  If this is true, you better do

    something!

Do you remember the poem- red on black, friend of Jack

red on yellow, kill a fellow?  (or a pet)

  12. 911 probably isn't the best answer. is there any possibility that your cat could be in danger instead of vice or  versa. because i had a small ball python and he got out a couple times and i always found him in the strangest of places like in a dresser drawer, a flower pot, and under the couch cushion. but you should call like an animal control. or even a vet could probably tell you what to do or who to talk to. good luck.

  13. ´Well, they are venomous. REALLY venomous.

    How old are the kids?

I hope, you won´ t have to move the furniture, that would suck.

My cat brought me, from outside, a snake couple of times.

The riot was heard down the block.

  14. no keep your cat right  next too u so u alwyas no where she/he is

  15. Why are you sitting here asking us instead of being on the phone already????

I already called 911 on your behalf, they're on their way. Keep looking!!! OvO

  16. search one room and make sure the snake isn't in there. put your cat in it and try to lour your snake out with food or something he may like.

    be careful and good luck
