Need Help With My SD Card and My Camera.?

ok, i have a Nikon coolpix camera, i have had it since april, i got it brand new and my Memory card (SD Card) wont stay in the slot its supposed to, I let my Freind use it and she said when she went t replace the battleries the card just flew out, Sometimes it will stay in and sometimes it doesnt, The memory card will stay in other cameras and my wii though. How can i get it to stay in its slot?? GOD I REGRET THE DAY I LET HER USE IT! IT WASA 250 DOLLAR CAMERA
