Need Help with JVC Everio Camcorder?

I do not know if the settings were messed with but the camera is stuck zoomed in really close and I cant zoom it out. The picture is blurry from the lack of focus. Anyone know why?

If the auto focus is not working correctly, check if the setting is on macro/close-up (the flower symbol)...but this still probably won't fix the stuck zoom.  You'd probably have to send the camcorder in for repair - but I suggest checking with the JVC tech support website first.
