  1. EF should provide you with this exact info.  School fees should be included.  I assume she's staying with a family?  Food money will be minimal - maybe snacks or lunch at school and if she wants to go out for fun.

Toiletries should be minimal - it's only 2 months, she should bring all she needs.  That type of stuff is much better to bring from home anyway, because it's cheaper and you know what you're getting/used to.  (German tampons were not what I was used to!)

She will probably want to spend money on souvenirs - amount depends on if she is staying in one place for 2 months or is touring.  EF has tours; I don't know if there's one included in your package or there may be an opportunity for one later.  I was gone for a year with EF, so there was more time for trips and stuff.  I would think that for 2 months they have the schedule down pretty well.

Of course an impromptu "weekend in Paris" is much easier to do when you're already in France!

I would say a couple hundred $ per month is reasonable.  Also depends on how fiscally responsible she is - if you trust her to not blow everything the first week, that's a great start!

I'm glad you're doing this for her - it's an experience she will never forget and always thank you for.  :-)
