  1. It doesn't cost very much just to have a vet look at this kitten.

Most vets will charge 20 to 30 dollars and will be able to tell you approximately how old it is. Cats have to be around 5 to 6 months old before they get their first shots, these will cost around 50 dollars, hope this helps you decide, if it was me i would keep the kitten.

  2. I'm hoping that her eyes are open, do you have any clue if she's weened or not?  You can buy special cat milk formulas.

  3. maybe she is to young to leabe her moma

  4. u should care for her till she can fend for herself and make sure she is a girl because if not at about 2-4 months get him fixed

  5. she is sick. she needs a vet.

go to a vet, have a check up. they are cheap. go over with the vet what treatment it needs and how much and payment plans.

kittens play, yours is sick. hopefully it is just worms and can be easily treated.

  6. Need more details, or a pic if you can post one!

If the eyes are open and shes walking (not crawling) then shes at least a couple weeks old, but still might need to be weened. Your best bet is really a vet, and quick!

  7. If she will eat kitten food...and use a litter box you are pretty much set with just loving her, and keeping her safe.

If she wont eat or use the litter box you will have to get some kitten milk from a pet stor and an eye dropper to feed her.  the litter box is jsut repetition and putting her there until she realizes what she is supposed to do there.  If she is so small that she gets cold when sleeping put her in a towel to kind of mimic cuddling up to her momma and siblings.

  8. First lets try to figure out how old she is...are her eyes open...are her ears standing up..is she walking or kinda crawling ??? give some more details..

  9. take her to a vet first for check up and if the vet said you can keep her than keep her.... and you are sooo lucky!!!!!

    good luck^^

  10. First- take her to a vet. Get her checked out for fleas worms and all her health stuff. And find a name

Second if  no ones looking for her get her a cat litter box, litter, food and water bowl and a few toys. Oh and a collar if you want one. Nail clippers and a flea comb(I always have one just in case. They get rid of fleas beautifully.) And flea and shampoo.

Edit: If you want to train him/her to use the toilet to keep the stentch of a cat box down I am currently using this sight to train my cat. Its awesome and everything is going beautifully.

Good luck. I just found my cat about a week and a half ago. I love him.

  11. first take her to the vet, and treat it like your own even if you dont decide to keep it.

  12. She's probably starving, poor thing. Kittens need to nurse to keep up their body heat, and they usually can't digest cows milk. If she has fleas or worms really bad she may be anemic as well. If they are weak, they are going to sleep a lot. Sometimes a vet will give you a 1st time visit discount, and/or will give you Good Samaritan rates if you are working with a stray cat. Go to the library and get out a few books about kitten life stages, and the care of newborns too.

You need to use kitten formula, not human milk. Or if the kitten will eat canned kitten food (or dry food which you've softened with warm water), you're in luck. If you are a student at a college with a vet school, call the vet school and see if you can get some cheap/free advice. And kittens should start getting their baby shots around 5-6 weeks old (not months). They can safely be dewormed with strongid even before that. But you have to be really careful about flea products, and the safest flea product is a just to go over her with a flea comb.
