I want a new 56 and 60 degree wedge. Im between Vokey spin milled and CG14. Titleist has the bounce i want but im not crazy about the look at address (looks to thin at the hozzel) but i like everything else. the CG14's dont have the bounce i want but i like the look at address alot more than the vokey's. I also want the wedge that gives me more bite on the greens.

  1. I would say if you don't feel comfortable with the Vokey than play the Cleveland.  It is all about what you are confident playing.

  2. Go with the Cleveland.  They started out as a wedge company.

  3. I like the mizuno wedges, spin the heck out of them..spin is more about technique...you have to be aggressive through the ball and the ball will bite more.. New wedges will help with spin, but shorten the backswing and accelerate through the ball and you'll get the bite you want...

  4. i have a 56 degree Vokey spin milled wedge.  I had a cleveland cg14 wedge before and just didnt like it.  I spin the Vokey spin milled wedge backwards a h**l of a lot more.  When i hit it onto a green from 100 yards it landed on the back of the green and spun back all the way off the front of the green at least 30 feet.  I noticed i wasnt getting that much spin with the CG14 and the groves were cutting my balls alot more than the Vokey wedge.  I presonally would pick the Vokey but go with whatever is most comfortable to your game.

  5. go somewhere that lets you take the clubs out and demo them. thats the best way in deciding what you like. i personally have never played either of those clubs but im pretty sure you cant go wrong with the spin milled. they are very easy to control the spin
