Ok, so me and my fiance are going to Las Vegas October 11th to get married. We're keepin it small (45 guests top) and simple. We're going to have the wedding at the Chapel of the Fountains at the Circus Circus Hotel. All guests are coming out of town and the nite before the wedding we're going to have rehearsal dinner. The question is where?! I haven't been to Vegas in 7 years, my fiance 4. We need a place that can accomadate a large group that's resonably priced (as everyone's going dutch). We're all 21+ with the exception of my fiance's 12 year old sister. And anything as close to the Circus Circus Hotel is great (as the wedding and ceremony are held right there). There is 2 restaurants there that we're interested in and if we hear good things, we'll have dinner there. They're called "The Garden Grill" and "Mexitalia X-Press". Anyone ever been there? Thanks to all who read this long question and help!

  1. I would suggest trying to give your Guests something away from Circus Circus. It tends to be overun with children and the food is  mediocre at best. Since I dont know your price range, I will suggest the following (which are all reasonably priced)

    Bahama Breeze

    Cheesecake Factory (3 locations)

    PF Changs

Paradise Garden Buffet at the Flamingo Hilton

Be sure and check the websites for more details and make reservations early (and be sure to confirm prior to your arrival)

  2. Hi I'm a cabbie here in Vegas.  The answer to your question is.  Opah Restaurant. on Sahara Av.  They serve Greek food banquet style if you want. The price is right. and they have the space to hold your rehearsal. They also have music and a dance floor if you so desire.  Hope I was able to help.

    Good Luck.

    The Cabbie.

  3. Why not go to the Riviera Hotel? It's walking distance.  There's a nice reasonable Italian restaurant there that has private dining for groups.  http://www.rivierahotel.com

Or else try Paco's Mexican Restaurant at the Sahara Hotel across the street.  It's very good, the price is right and the atmosphere is festive.

The only restaurant I'd recommend in Circus Circus is the Steakhouse and it's quite expensive.

  4. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
