Need Opinions on Wal-Mart Furniture

Hello all, I've recently moved and have decided to get some new funiture for my bedroom (a nightstand and a tv stand) and need some opinions.

I know you can get cheap stuff at Wal-Mart, and personal or political feels about the Wal-Mart Corp aside, is the stuff any good or should I spend the extra money at a place like Sears.

Wal-Mart furniture is c**p..spend a little more money and get something that will last.

I think it depends on what you buy.  I bought a seat that you put at the foot of the bed that has baskets in it, and it is a very nice quality.  It did have to be assembled, but that was not a big deal.  It is well-made and the wood is very good quality.
