Need Picture Package software for Sony Handycam DCR-HC17E?

Every site I have gone to has forums where people ask for free software downloads of picture package and when they get answers the sites you go to only have updates, they don't have the original version. Their main excuses were that they lost their original disk and ended up either re formating their hard drive or accidentally deleting it. Well I'm not going to make excuses. Of course it didn't have the software. I don't want to have to spend a lot of money just to get the software. I already have editing software and other things for it but I just need software so I can transfer the video. Can anyone send me to a site or something that has the original Picture Package version 1.0. I would really appreciate it.

By the way the Sony website only has updates too so there is no use in telling me to go there.

From Sony support there is a link to buy accessories for your camcorder. Or try phoning Sony. Either way you will end up buying the software from Sony.
