Okay so we are throwing my dad a surprise retirement party and not that I care how much I am spending because this is a big deal...but after buying food, decorations, cake, and drinks, and all that stuff...I bought a huge thing of Rum to make drinks for the ladies (the guys are having beer). ANYWAY...I need easy drink recipes. Anything...cocktails, frozen, anything. BUT...something easy where I don't have to buy all kinds of additional drinks. Also, it's light rum.

  1. An easy recipe I enjoy is Cranberry Juice, Mountain Dew, and Bacardi.  I use equal parts rum, juice, and dew.  Some of my friends prefer more dew so it's a little more on the bubbly side.  Either way its easy to make and its yummy!

  2. White rum is such a great mixer that it will taste good with almost anything!

Go with what you like, personally I like lime so I would make limeade and add a few shots. Maybe even a cherry limeade...mmm

Strawberry, pomegranate, cherry, or peach lemonade would be good too and if you wanted to make it frozen just add more ice, some sugar, and puree in a blender till slushy.

Use pineapple and coconut juice to make Pina Coladas, always a favorite...

Umm, cranberry juice is always a great mixer too.

    Good luck and have fun!

  3. Make Mojitos:

  4. Try the site below, it has some really good mix drink recipes.

  5. Great White

    1 1/2 oz. Spiced Rum

3/4 oz. Vanilla syrup (like the kind used in coffee drinks)

    3 oz. coconut milk

    Dash of nutmeg (garnish)

Combine the rum, vanilla syrup, and coconut milk in a shaker with ice. Shake to blend. Strain and serve in a Collins or other tall glass filled with ice.

    Garnish with nutmeg.

Delish!! Creamy and mild, with just a little spice.
