Need Sites for buying used cars..?

i need a couple sites i can check out to buy a legit used car.

people told me about craigslist, ebay, autotrader, and even yahoo.. i couldnt find exactly what i needed (2004ish corolla, no salvage!). i was wondering if there are other good sites?

  1. Craigslist is the most popular (because it's free) and eBay is the best of the "fee" sites, because they have so many protection features to keep you from being scammed or cheated.

    Offline, you could try newspaper classifieds, free "autotrader" magazines at your local supermarket, and local consignment lots.


  2. If you are looking for a specific car be patient, one will show up soon.

    Autotrader is by far the largest and widest used and most well known of the online automotive ads.

    You also need to be looking at the dealers sites for the car you want. If you are looking for a used Corolla, check the Toyota dealers in your area. All of them have their inventory online.  Your local newspaper also has their classified ads online.
