Need VISA to visit Bangkok, Thailand from CA?

I live in California. I want to visit Bangkok, Thailand in Dec of this year. Do I need a Visa? What is best place to get it? Any other requirement besides passport?

  1. You can get a visa on airrival no problems for people with an American passport.

    Be sure to book early for hotels they can get busy that time of year. I would suggest Fraser Suites or Grand Surkhivit


  2. As long as your a US citizen you will not need a visa for entry into Thailand.  You are visa exempt for a period of 30 days.

  3. If you are a US citizen and want to travel in Thailand for a short period, you don't need a tourist visa. However, you can apply for the tourist visa at the Thai embassy in DC  or consulate general in NY, LA, Chicago.

    anyway  ,u  can  always  get  a visa  on  arrival.  fr  a visa,

    u need  3 photos  (passport  size)  &  return  tickets &hotel  bking  receipts
