im going to get this tattoo tomm but do i buy the stencil or just show him the pic and he puts his own flare into it

The original intention of a tattoo was to mark an individual as part of a tribe or a group. This type of tattoo warns others if you happen to belong to some kind of gang (good for them) and allows other kindred spirits to identify you (good for you.)

It looks like you got this from Johnny Tattoo. If so and that's EXACTLY what you want then buy the stencil for ?$15? if you want it to be a little more unique then go ahead and let the tattoo artist fix you up. Just be careful because some tattoo artists aren't as wonderful as you may think and that's something you'll have to live with forever if they ef it up!

i would go there with the picture. they can always put there flare on it too that's what they did for mine. if you go there with a stencil it might make it harder for them because they don't have allot to work with if they put there little flare into it.

Just go with the flow. If you don't like it you can always get another tattoo over it. One band-aid solution at a time. Jeez!!!

Just show him.. Or tell him you want a tribal piece and describe it.. But I would print it and take it with me...

Just take the picture. I assume you're going to be getting this on your arm or back--you'll need the tattoo artist to adjust the dimensions to where they will look good on you. I would also suggest letting the artist give you a few ideas about the drawing--you may end up regretting getting a mediocre tattoo off the internet instead of letting the artist put some individual style into it.

save the image to your computer then click on it in your pics and click "print preview" select the % option at the top of the page and enlarge it to about 150%, this will make the image larger, you don't need to purchase the stencil if you can get a clear print out of the pic, they will simply trace it or scan it and make it fit to the size you desire. If you want them to add to it, they should be more than happy to, otherwise, just work with them and tell them what you want.

Take him the flash. He'll make a stencil from it. It's not a stencil, till he can stick it on and get a purple outline. That's just part of the job. He can resize it there in the shop, according to your body and your budget. He CAN use copyrighted material, as long as he doesn't put it up on the wall. Your skin is a different story. Enjoy your ink!

You can show them the picture and they can change it or keep it the way it is depending on what you want, and how you want it to look, its all up to you in the end.
