Need a Good digital Camera?

I need a good camera. does anybody have suggestions for a camera that.....takes good pictures, HOLDS BATTERY LIFE LONG, has a nice view screen to see after the pic is taken...... and if possible i want it to be red

Look for a camera that uses Li-ion batteries.  They have the best "shelf life" and can hold a charge for weeks after the battery is fully charged.  If the battery is cared for, it can last up to five years.

The next chore is to find a camera that uses SD or SDHC memory cards ... that is all but three compact digital cameras made ... all but Sony (uses Memory Sticks), Olympus and some Fujifilm (use xD cards)

Canon and Sony cameras are good.

I recommend the Sony DSC-T200/R 8.1MP Digital Camera..It gets good reviews.

A decent deal for it is $294 instead of $350.

Sony's are the best..Pannisonics.. no.. it also depends on what kind of pictures you take.. are they just for social life... are you into professional photography?
