  1. You need to decide what type of quilt you want made. Will it be simple blocks, appllique or what? Go to the quilt shop and price fabrics, etc. so you have an idea of the materials will cost. Then ask if anyone would be interested in putting it all together for you. Be sure to ask for prices for labor. Also, make sure they have a timeline...and that you check on the progress every so often. The labor may include the piecing, the quilting (hand or machine) and putting the binding on. Good luck!

  2. I have a lady that does quilting for me, she can send you pictures of her amazing quilt, she is about 70 years old and hs been quilting for about 30 years, she is very fast, and does stunning work. Her email is gailya3@aol.com she is amazing. I have a group that makes kids for cancer and she contributes so much to us.

  3. Look in your local directory for a quilters guild. Ask if anyone makes quilts to order.

  4. go to you local hobby shops like hobby lobby or michaels. check with some of the staff. to see if they know a customer or another employee that quilts. check at walmart in the fabric or craft section as well. talk to everyone you know to see if maybe they know someone who quilts.
