  1. Yes there are dealerships that if you have a job and make so much they will help you get a used car

I will agree with bdancer about interest rates

I financed an 07 HHR my loan was for $20,000 that loan is costing me with interest $28,000 for a car that if I would have been able to pay cash for off the lot would have only cost me $18,000

  2. OMG...the only thing that score will get you is  foot-mobile.

You need a really well paying job!

  3. Save up cash and get a cheap car. Try to get a capitol one card to build up your credit score

  4. Save your money and buy a hoopdy.  If you were able to get a car loan approved, the interest rate would be outrageous.

  5. Alisha, you've got only two options.

One, go to one of those dealers which finances the deal themselves. They'll charge you a high interest rate because you're high risk. They will repossess in a heartbeat if you're late, so make sure your car payment is on time every month no matter what. They're counting on making a profit from your high interest, and getting their car back at some point, too, because that's often how it plays out when the buyer has bad credit or no credit.

The other is to scale back all your expenses and save, save, save, then buy a car outright or make a large down payment on it and finance the remainder--at a more reasonable rate from an ordinary dealer.

  6. I agree with the first 3 posters, especially bdancer222 (LOL @ hoopdy, it's "hooptie"). You're better buying a fairly reliable cash car, as opposed to financing one. With the way the economy is, getting it insured and gas alone will be murder, not including regular maintenance.
