  1. Food is the most important thing.  You can make a deli  tray w/ ham, turkey and cheese.  Roll the lunch meat .Put roast beef im a crock pot w./ aujuy gravy. Great sandwiches.   Side salads. Macaroni, Potato or a Pasta salad. Choose two. Toss a salad.  Baked Ziti is very ez and inexpensive. Deviled eggs or Baked beans.   Cake, go to Costco or Sam's.  Invitations do on line & print out on pretty paper.  Decorations the dollar store.  Buy flowers to put on the tables with candles. Make little baby favors.  Wrap utensils in napkin w/  ribbion wrapped around it.  If uou want Alcohol make a sangeria w/ wine & fruit.  All these recieps are online.  Have fun.

  2. My favorite venues for special events are:

    1) Maggiano's

    2) Clyde's (probably more inexpensive)

Type in the appropriate info at the maggianos site for their Chevy Chase, MD to get a quote:

    http://www.maggianos.com/locations/detai...

If it is unaffordable the cheapest alternative is the Clyde's location in Tysons Corner, VA (this is the cheapest room fee and minimum food bill)

    contact info:

This one is 75$ room fee and minimum $300 food bill:

There is another in Columbia, MD but they don't put the fees online:

    CLYDE'S OF COLUMBIA

    10221 Wincopin Circle

    Columbia, MD 21044

    Contact: Any Manager

    Private Rooms: Based on availability

    Phone: (410) 730-2829
