Need a computer saving files device?

we had to get rid of internet and i want to know if there is a device that i can use for when i want to get things downloaded and if it can save like any type of file like videos, music, etc.

any one know? then answer!

The only way you will be able to Download stuff from the Web,..is if you have the web,..or can get access to the Net somewhere else.IE Internet Cafe,..and Friends House.

You could buy a  Portable External Hardrive and use a Laptop,..connect them,..and go to a Net Cafe,..of Library pay for an hour session there and Download programmes that you want,..and save it to the Hardrive.

When you get home,..you could transfer the file downloads to you're main PC and install them.

However,..this is a massive upheaval as it would be allot easier if you had the web at home again.

As cruel it might sound, but no internet = no downloading. Yeah, i know, life sucks.

Your best option would be buying a big flash drive, or portable HDD enclosure (with a HDD, o/c), so you could download files from other places (school/work/friends place/etc) and bring them to your PC.
