Need a fast-growing vine for a science project?

I need a fast growing vine for a science project that is due in about a month....I live in Utah or zone 1, the plant with be grown inside and its object is to grow toward a light, so I am also looking for the best kind of growth light.

  2. Just get some garden type beans or peas that climb.  They will grow fast since they are an annual and you can plant a bunch to have plenty of back ups.   Plant them in containers big enough for the whole month since they don't transfer well.

Like someone else had said use kudzu.  I live in Mississippi and I know it is a very very fast growing vine.  There are state programs here trying to get rid of it for the past couple of decades but to no avail.  The stuff is really resilient and spread out very broadly and fast.  If you don't have it in your area and you do get some for your class be sure to destroy it after your done completely.  Poison and burn the plant.  It can really get out of hand trust me.
