I have a video taken on my digital camera that I need to shorten/edit. I only have to be able to remove the beginning & end. The vid plays back on Quicktime. Don't really want to pay for Pro if I can avoid it. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! the vid is a 72.7 MB. The camera that recorded it (if it matters) is Kodak Easy Share.

  1. if your working on windows,

    start<all programs<windows movie maker

from your pictures, drag the video into windows movie maker. once it is in movie maker, drag your video onto the timeline near the bottom of the screen.

at the beginning of the timeline, you'll be able to drag and cut off the beginning of the video. as for the end, you'll be able to drag your mouse towards the left to snip off however much time from the end.

if this doesn't make sense, there are links on the side of windows movie maker that give you precise directions on how to edit videos.
