Need a gift for 8 year old girl!?

I need to buy a gift for my 8 year old niece. Just some background info: she is currently home schooled, does ballet, and dances hula. Any suggetions are greatly appreciated!

Well, you could get her a webkinz. Check out this website: http://www.webkinz.com/. You could get a ballerina outfit for it and a hula outfit for it and keep her entertained for hours on the computer and with her pet. A lot of the games are educational as well.

Well my 7 and 9 yr old daughters just had their birthdays and their favorite presents were.

A paint your own vanity, it was adorable and bought at Wal-Mart in the craft section.

A velvet box to color, like the posters only its a box.

The Barbie doctor set, comes with twin babies, really cute.

Or any of the Bella products, they have Bella Dancerella, Bella Cheerleader, Bella Princess dancing.  they are cute and come with a CD and set of pom poms or something for whatever the theme is.

We live in a small town and all of these things are available at Wal-Mart.

And I also agree a new leotard is always great, but check with your sister, my daughter is in ballet and has a dress code of only pink leo's tutu's and tights.

A cute Webkinz stuffed animal bought at any Hallmark store for $8-13.. she'll love it, the online games are GREAT (and FREE) and every 8 yr old girl should be using this.. believe me, help her with her Screen Name & Password and you'll be amazed.

I think crafts are ALWAYS a great idea.

I'm sure you could easily find a craft dealing with Ballet at almost ANY craft store like hobby lobby, michaels, or joanns.

just some ideas: sun catchers, ballet themed bracelets, felt coloring pictures, or paper dolls.

Chances are she loves Hanna Montana, so you could get her a CD.  I always give craft kits as a gift.  At 8 she is old enough for weaving, painting, keychain braiding, picture frame making, etc.  Go to Joanns craft website for ideas.
