Need a good acoustic song for a festival?

Question

I was recently asked to perform a cover acoustic song for this festival where I live. I'm not really sure what I should do.. the artists i'm into are paramore, city and colour, foo fighters, some of avril lavignes stuff etc. I want something new and exciting..i play shows quite a bit with covers and originals..and i'm bored with the ones i know! Any suggestions? thanks!

If your a foo fan Everlong all the way. Make it your last song because thats song is just a killer acoustic song. And Learn To Fly, My Hero and Times Like These by the foo's are fantastic acoustic. But maybe Under The Bridge or By The Way by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers? Those are really good acoustic. For Paramore, Thats What You Get is good acoustic. "Hey There Delilah" is a GREAT song- I know that it's not listed above, but everyone loves this song

Or you could even try "Blackbirds" by The Beatles, yet another all-time favorite. Good luck!!!!

Why not try "Tears In Heaven" by Clapton.....everyone seems to love that....or try some standards by the Beatles, they always go over big.....Good luck to you !!!!!!!!
