I am looking for a good air freshener for my room but I have allergies and usually sneeze with common "cheap" air fresheners like glade plug-ins or burning incense. Any suggestions besides candles?

  1. As I see it your only alternative is "Fresh Air" open your windows and let the air do the rest.`

  2. Vanilla extract in a make up sponge in a shallow dish, chopped up orange peels, cinnamon sticks (broken into small pieces) on a plate or in a pot of simmering water. You can also buy LOADS of different essential oils and put them on artificial flower petals in a pretty container.

  3. You said, ".......like Glade plug-ins".  Well, have you tried the various scents of those plug ins?  I use the AirWick plug in and I prefer the one (can't think of the name right now) that's a dark blue/purple color.  It states its description as being relaxing.  May be something with eucalyptus in it.  That one is great.  Not too strong yet very pleasant.

I mean, if you think about it, what is there == besides plugs-ins, burning candles or incense.  Not much.  I guess you can also always buy Fabreze.  There are various ones.  There is also one that is specifically an air freshener and comes in different scents.

DON'T buy potpourri if you have allergies.  That can really bother you -- but you probably already know that.
