Question:

Need a good constructive toy for my nearly 3 yr. old boy?

My son who is almost 3 years needs a toy which would keep him busy for longer periods (hopefully) and provide the need for him to put something together and actively play. I'd also ideally but not necessarily like for it to be a toy which pieces could be added to later on (once bored, so it's is "new" again). Also not too expensive (around $30 max. should do it). Any suggestions out there?

  1. we used to keep containers when i was small from sour cream and yogurt and stuff so we'd stack them up like 5 feet tall and crash through them with out breaking anything because they're light

  2. If hes not the type of child to stick things up his nose or swallow stuff, then lego's are some of the best toys you can get a kid, as he can make anything according to his imagination.

If not, i kept getting my brother bionicles and neo shifters, as you can add other neo shifters or bionicles to make a SUPER bionicle or a SUPER neoshifter.

Neo shifters are more ideal, as you can use them for kitbashing projects later, when he gets older ( i was surprised on how well those Neo shifters are built ).

    Happy hunting buddy

  3. "Lego's" but not the little ones.  They make large ones that the little kids can stick in their mouths and chock.

  4. My grandson loves the discovery toys and he and his little friend play with them more than any of his other toys...
