  1. um i dont think an italian restaurnt would be your best choice..try geisha house or another sushi place

  2. I'm a big fan of the Libery Grille in downtown. It's over by the Staples Center. The rest of you can nosh on mac & hceese balls and high-end burgers. But the more health-concious guests can enjoy really great salads. http://www.liberty-grill.com/ and yes, they can accomodate a party of 15 if you call well in advance.

If you want to try something a little more exotic, check out Blossom http://www.blossomrestaurant.com/ It's Vietnamese food, so your friend can eat a noodle salad (go easy on the nuoc mam, don't want too much sodium).

I also have to give a thumbs up to Ciudad. It's on Figueroa near 4th Street. Great Latin cuisine. Lots of salads and seafood. Really delicious! http://www.ciudad-la.com/

In my office, we like to go to Chinatown. Depending on what you get it can, there are some decent selections. Hop Li , Hop Woo and Yang Chow get my vote.

  3. mmm. maybe try yamashiro's... they have sushi... isn't that healthy?

  4. la triato

    great italian restaraunt
