Need a good website to donate money to 3rd world counties?

I want to find a christian based organization or website that lets you dontate money to help people in 3rd world countries. I heard about something through world vission were you can send money to help people get vaccines for like leprosy and different things like that and nets to prevent malaria (it think thats what it was). I havnt been able to find what im looking for though. Ive looked at so many world vission websites but i cant find were you can do this. Ive found like nets and stuff but not the actually shots for like leprosy and hiv/aids.

if anyone knows a good website were i can find some of these things id really like to know about them, especially if youve donated before. also scince i dont have a credit card if you know how you can send money without using the internet that would be great too. (my parents dont put theres on the internet).

Check out this site from Samaritan's Purse (run by Franklin Graham--Billy Graham'son).  It gives lots of ways to donate to Medical Missions.  I'm very activly involved in another sector of Samaritan's Purse:  Operation Christmas Child (sending kids the only gifts they'll ever recieve).  This is one of the best run Christian Missions in the whole world!

I think donating overseas is a great idea.  It doesn't mean we are neglecting people here, but at the same time, children overseas die of diseases that Americans don't even have to think about (no matter what the poverty level).

I also have a friend who is sending school supplies to Uganda (where a box of crayons is equivilant to a family's weekly wages).  She ships everything in a 'large Priority mail box'.  It is the cheapest way to send things internationally.  Sending your own box would cost over $70.  Just an afterthought.  Best of luck in whatever you decide to do!

Have you ever thought of donating to your own country? There are plenty of people and animals in need right here at home.  I think every celebrity donates to Africa now(not that I think that's bad, they need help too), but sometimes I wonder why people will help out other countries but forget the people who live right here at home.  Just a thought.
