Need a job and money bad. Does the peace corp.....?

pay much? are there age limits. How can I apply for a job in Iraq building or truck driving...do they pay alot?

  1. I don't think you quite understand what the Peace Corps is.

    Here's a hint: The people who are in the Peace Corps are known as *volunteers*, not *employees*.

    You do get a minimum living allowance while you're volunteering. You're also expected to make a two-year commitment to the Corps. At the end of the two years, they give you a resettlement allowance (something like $5000) to start you back into civilian life.

    You don't actually get to choose your location or your job in the Corps. They make placements based on your skills and their needs.

  2. The Peace Corps isn't your answer. Haliburton Corporation would be your best bet to work in Iraq. They have a danger bonus, in case the militants drag you from your truck and behead you. Look them up on the web.

  3. peace corps are volunteers payed with small amounts (just to live in, some food, housing, basic allowance). get a real job
