  1. Hi,

I am also in exactly the same position as yourself, I have applied to British Airways here in Istanbul and also the main airport Ataturk.  I am finding that maybe my disadvantage is not speaking fluent Turkish, I am learning but not quick enough.  I would also suggest the hotel option or call centre work, I think whatever you do you will need basic spoken Turkish and you will also need a work permit.

A good employer will supply a work permit for you, there is also the little important item you will require and that is a multiple visa.

  2. You are not allowed to work in Turkey with out a work permit. You need to find a job before you come and have them apply for a work permit for you.

If you get caught working with out a permit you can be deported.

  3. having been a tourist there on several occasions and asking a couple of my friends after seeing your msg, they say that you need to check with the hotels to start, the English chain hotels,  You have not said how fluent your turkish is,   but they said that you can get a job in the tourist area of town,  doing the customer service there, if you only speak english,

good luck,  turkey can be beautiful and wonderful, ;)
