Need a kind of webcam that records & has motion detection.?

Question

I would like an inexpensive webcam that I can put at the office to record anyone who goes near my desk.

Do you have any good recommendations?

I noticed that not many webcams have "motion detection" in their details.

I also need a webcam that can record hours and hours of footage.

Motion detection and recording isn't something that would be in the webcam. It would be in software that's running on your pc. I dunno which program is best though.

I use   logitech   web  cams or you can use microsoft  web cam  but as far as storing at   lot of video  takes allot  of room  make sure  you trying at  home before  you  try it  at work.and you have decided  how  you want to monitor a video  or snapshots.
