I think my current version is Windows Media player 7.0..???

No matter what , I really NEED tp update my player.

I'm fighting the problem of having a collection of ( 500 songs ), and after synching to my device , I only see about half my artists and associated songs. When synch'd - it does synch the entire libarary , NO problem. But I only see a small fraction of my library on my MP3.

Sych another time ,with the whole library again , and it's a c**p shoot as to what you'll be able to access when all is done.

I installed a bunch of free CODEC's and it corrected the problem a tad bit. My version player will not support OGG Codecs so I'm thinking the new version will ,.......and the increased CODEC's will increase my MP3 players accessible files / folders ???????

I deleted all my WMA format stuff and that also helped. Another clue is that when I open the E: device and then the music folders ( as a E device ) , I see all the music , BUT..............., ALL the MP4 formatted music does not have a directory over to the right as all my MP3 and Windows Media Player files do ????????????

Can you provide a link so I can at least have the latest version of Media Player? Will I lose all my music in the process ?

Step Mikey thru it and thou will be granted 10 points

This thing is killing me - HELP !!!!!

It's a matter of principal figuring this thing out !!!! :):):)
