Need a list of Over-the-Counter medications that are vegan/vegetarian.

Question

Specifically need to know if Excedrin is vegetarian (is the stearic acid plant or animal based)? Does anyone know for sure?

you should try more natural remedies then those things that are manufactured and are alwayes tested on animals because also you dont know whats really in those things and your body may not even really need it try for natural before you go otc and you may find yourself getting better esults than you ever would on some manufactured med

The stearic acid in Excedrin is derived from fat taken from the stomachs of pigs.

However, since Excedrin is made by Novartis and is tested on animals, most would not consider it vegan even if the stearic acid were of plant origin.
