Need a little help on geography!?

Question

So Manaus' (in Brazil) temperature range is something like 27-29, so what is responsible for this type of climate?(for example altitude, and explain a bit about how exactly it effect the climate and/or percipition)

Manaus is near the equator so it has a lot of rain.  The reason it has a constant temperature is because it is always near the sun.  There are no seasons, only wet season and dry season.
