I have 3 quarterbacks. Marc Bulger, David Garrard, and Kurt Warner. Should I drop Garrard or Warner for someone else? I'm thinking Garrard, though.

But heres my problem... who should I pick up in place for Garrard? It's a 12 man league so obviously, a lot of the top players should be gone. Or just tell me what position I should get. Heres my current roster:

QB - Marc Bulger

WR - Larry Fitzgerald, Plaxico Burress, Chris Chambers

RB - Tomlinson LaDainian, Julius Jones

TE - Chris Cooley

K - Josh Brown

DEF - Minnesota

DB - Will Blackmon, Aaron Ross

DL - Vince Wilfork

Bench:

David Garrard - QB

Kurt Warner - QB

Ronnie Brown - RB

Jerricho Cotchery - WR

L.J. Smith - TE

  1. That whole Leinart/Warner thing is a bad situation that you should not get involved in.

IMO, Bulger and Garrard are both awesome for totally different reasons. I like Bulger because he has weapons and they aren't besieged by freaks injuries...yet. That was an anomaly. So he could pretty much blow up any week. In my public league I passed on all of the QBs just to get him, so I'm a believer.

But my backup plan, as in "my plan for Bulger's backup" was Garrard, but Cutler dropped to me so I took him. My logic for wanting Garrard was that he's a predictable performer.

I never finish #1 in W-L or points, but I always do well enough. I always try to get guys like Garrard who I can count on for 10 points. He runs. He won't get you negative points. He'll throw a score and get a few in the air. If I start a guy like Garrard, I can afford to do risky matchups at WR where I might get a WR with 20 points or the same guy with 2. But with Bulger, he might go out and get you nothing on a big day by Jackson or he could throw for 4 scores.

Garrard gives you flexibility to actually put Cotchery in your lineup and take out Larry or Plaxico if you don't like their matchup.

You have a really good team. Dump Warner, play it right and you'll have no regrets. A lot of managers are going to be pissed at the end of the year that you stocked up on talent and made key steals at WR late in the draft - and be pissed when you beat them with Garrard in the only week you start him in a month ^^

  2. J.T.O'Sulivan is looken' good in San Fran...

    Or try packaging players.Like Bulger+R.Brown for C.Palmer,Big Ben,or maybe Drew Brees.~~G{}{}d Luck!

  3. I would keep Garrard over Bulger and Warner. Get rid of Warner because who knows what will pan out with him and Leinart (spelling?). I don't know how much you could get for him, but you could use another solid RB. It might also cost you a WR though. you're good with that position.
