Need a lot of help choosing a career!?

I'm a college freshman .Ok so I have already decided that my major will be business administration. the thing is I don't like it at all. It bores me, but the reason i'm doing it is because there's a lot of jobs for this major and they win good money.(I have a hard time finding jobs) What really interests me is social work and sociology, but there are hardly any jobs for this and they probably don't win a lot of money? what should i do? also does anybody know of majors similar to social work that have a lot of job openings please help!!

  1. Think that whatever you chose, you would have to do it for the rest of your life. So two things are very  important upon choosing a career:

1.- What are the things I can do best

2.- What I really like doing

Believe me, after several years of working your butt off, how much money your making is not so important if you don't like the job, because eventually others with more passion are going to replace you, because they love it and they are going to do it better.

Take a Career Orientation Test and find out for yourself what is your true Vocational Identity, then see if the results match your interests. Nobody knows for sure if your going to be good in something or if you are going to like a job , until you fulfill it. So to be sure your on the right track, eventually  try getting a practice work to feel the hang of it.

Life is an ever changing process and you have advanced at this point only  20% of the journey. Good luck!
