Need a mac expert concerning mac hanging up when going to web site

there are now 2 web sites that when I attempt to go to them my mac hangs up...(the little colorwheel thing spins FOR effing ever!) anyway, I have to resort to a "force quit" and then relaunch safari to continue. I would not mind so much, but the 2 sites are favorites and now I cannot access them...whats up?

Its not your Mac that is the problem it is either the web site or Safari. I use Firefox 3.01 on my iMac with no issues at all.

What are the two web sites that you have issues with?

Are they java or Flash based?
