I'm a big admirer of Lance Armstrong. Saw him in his first pro race and followed him through France in the 2003 Tour, but my inner smart-aleck forces me to answer this question literally, and correctly:

There is no way to have 10 major events in one's life.  You can't even have 2 major events.  Major is the adjective form of majority, meaning more than half, greater.  By definition a person can only experience one major event.  So, 10 is impossible.  Even if they were all of equal importance each would rank only 10%.  

Do you see?  The more significant events one experiences the farther one is from any one event qualifying as major.
