So i am fifteen and am sick of having all my makeup practically off my face by the end of the day and looking super shiny....it's quite disgusting. is there anything at sephora or at target or something? please tell me everything you use and where you get it from and how you apply it!! i'm desperate here!! My skin is acne prone, i have really fair skin and I feel like my skin gets too dry if i don't use a moisturizer and i get very oily within an hour of applying makeup, if it matters. Thanks a lot!!

  1. I have heard that perscriptives is great for oily skin.  you can get it at a department store.  this girl i worked with used it and her skin was flawless.  It was so creamy and smooth looking, and she never had to reapply.  plus it did not look all cakey.  you could not tell she had on make up unless you were right next to her.   She also told me they mix it there so it is guarenteed to match.  I had just bought some mac and spent too much on it to switch, but I would definitly give it a go

  2. Get this:

    oil control powder (apply first)

    Hollywood mineral foundation (apply second)

    Mineral Veil (apply last)

from LA Minerals website. They have tons of shades, so I'm sure one of them will match you. WOn't break you out. Less expensive than bare minerals, and lasts all day long. I put my on in the morning and it still looks at 8 that night, even in the summer and if I sweat!

You can get some samples for like $1 ontheir website and they ship them to you free.

None of that autoshipment crud either.

  3. everday minerals go to www.everyday minerals.com

  4. physicians formula!

the talc free mineral powder works the best

it doesnt make me break out and it looks very natural

it might be a bit expensive but its worth it!

  5. I would definitely try bare minerals. I have combination skin and it works great. It is $25 for the foundation and $19 for the mineral veil (finishing powder), you do not have to use that but it sets the makeup nicely. You can get it at sephora, ulta or a bare escentuals store. I start by washing my face, moisturizing with cetaphil lotion, apply foundation with the baby buki brush ($15). You are supposed to make little swirls and buff all over your face. Then i apply the mineral veil setting powder. It look great and lasts all day. My skin is so sensitive and it has not made me break out at all. Good luck hope i helped.
