Need a place to stay for a week in mumbai?

am a student and going to mumbai for interviews on last week of september. need to stay there for a week. would prefer vashi, thane, navi mumbai since the distance is shorter from my interview place. have a tight budget. plz recommend me a hotel, lodge or anything like that.

If you would have written the place of interview it would have helped you a lot cos based on the place of your interview there might be many dormitories or lodges in that area,which a local would know, i doubt for a week any hostel would avail any facilites....i would suggest you to signup in couchsurfing.com and post this query in the mumbai group it would be more helpful.

PS: It is a nice concept but i would really advice you to go through the profile before you interact with anyone.
