well i need help choosing a topic, i need a topic that is controversial/ debatable. That is not abortion, g*y marriage or anything religious. And something that can be written 10 pgs on. i thought of stem cell research any other ideas.

cant use global warming he used it as an example.

you could write a paper on changing the age limit on drinking. it is all over the news right now and there are strong views from the pro- and anti-18 year old limit.

In the area of health and sciences, you could discuss issues regarding the shortages of doctors and nursing care as well as the fact that so many baby boomers will soon be in need of extra medical help.    Should the seniors have medical care  at home? How can schools encourage more young people in to the  field of medicine? Should medical practitioners be brought in from out of country to fill the gap?

research on sports and how uhh soccer (or whatever sport you want) started and who was the inventor and tell about his/her life. and tell about when and where the first game was and how its played/rules and whatnot.

or you can research on the september 11th attack

or when the Japaneses attacked pearl harbor

or about different cultures in a state and there elements and coustoms.
